3. Dairy
Cats lapping up milk—we’ve seen it multiple times in movies. Well, we’ve all been fooled, as milk can be detrimental to your feline friend’s health.
Dairy is long-debated as to whether or not it’s bad for cats. According to experts in animal nutrition, the idea of feeding these animals a bowl of milk is pretty misleading. Some cats do enjoy dairy and cheese in very small quantities (like a taste of a cottage cheese curd or a flake of parmesan cheese), but all in all, dairy from cows and other species can wreak havoc on your furry friend’s digestive system (similar to humans who experience lactose intolerance).
This being said, dairy is actually one of the most dangerous foods for cats and can give your pet bloating, gas, diarrhea, and vomiting. More importantly, kittens should never be fed dairy.
