9. Batteries
Batteries are essential for helping your devices work properly and do their job, but if your pet gets in contact with some batteries, it’s not going to make them happier or give them more energy.
You’d better keep your batteries in a drawer that your furry friends can’t have access to, because if they put batteries in their mouths or even swallow them, they can develop serious health issues, such as stomach and throat problems and mouth ulcers, due to the acid these items contain.
10. Toys
Kids of different ages have different toys to play with, so there’s no potential harm in swallowing something and then getting to the emergency room, and the same rule applies when it comes to your pet.
Whether it’s a dog or a cat, you should only purchase specific toys for them because distinct pieces can be swallowed or get stuck in your fluffy companion’s throat, which can lead to severe complications. Balls or any other toys that aren’t specifically made for your pet’s breed or size can be a potential danger.
