Rottweilers
Rottweilers were initially bred as guard dogs and had a strong instinct to protect their owners. But they can become quite aggressive towards strangers and many other animals, especially if they aren’t properly trained and don’t have enough time to socialize.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Rottweilers are at fault for a wide number of fatal dog attacks every single year.
According to a more recent report by DogsBite.org, a national dog bite victims’ group, Rottweilers were to blame for 10.5% of all dog bite fatalities in the United States between 2005 and 2020.
As the percentage of fatalities attributed to Rottweilers decreased over time, they are still a breed that could potentially pose a danger if they’re not properly trained and socialized.

Pit Bulls are a loosely used way to describe a dog! Not all attack are these dogs! I trusted Pit bulls while my kids grew up, not one attack or aggressive behavior! Stop the lying! Stop the false in of because purposeful misinformation creates death to thousands of innocent dogs and rescues are trying to save them! All dogs regardless of DNA are taught how behaviors by humans! Do not blame the dog, Blame the failure of the human being either being stupid and not teaching them basic training, Many sadly are trained for guarding not a loving pet! You are not blaming the dog fighters or their training !!! Place the blame where it truly goes not the dogs who live out what lessons and behaviors are taught!
Exactly!….Yet, so many people buy into this BS. If anything, they are the most abused of the breeds because of horrible humans like Michael Vic. He ended up getting a slap on the wrist and then awarded a sports trophy shortly after.
