Siberian Husky
These dogs have some incredibly beautiful eyes, and they are known for their sled-pulling abilities. Huskies are athletic, and they need space to burn all of their energy. Physical activity and mental stimulation are mandatory, and you should be prepared for that.
With an average lifespan of 12 to 14 years, Huskies are generally healthy dogs. However, just like any other breed, they have some specific health issues that might occur as they get older.
Common issues include eye problems such as cataracts, progressive retinal atrophy, and corneal dystrophy. Hip dysplasia is also a concern but is far less common compared to other breeds.
Greyhound
They are incredible sprinters and have a particular physical appearance that makes them instantly recognizable. But despite all of this, they are professional couch potatoes! If you want to have a companion for a lazy day, they are perfect.
Generally, greyhounds don’t have too many health issues, and they can live up to 15 years. Compared to other breeds, they are more susceptible to gastric torsion, commonly known as bloat, and the worst part is that this condition can easily become life-threatening.
Closely monitor their eating habits and never let them eat too quickly or engage in intense physical activity right after they have had a meal.
