6. Primates
Whether you think about a baboon, a chimp, a lemur, or a capuchin, they’re all primates, and none of them should be adopted as a pet. They’re similar to little kids since they behave like tiny humans, act like babies, and treat you with a mess and a screaming session when they find something they don’t like.
One thing that should make people let go of their desire to own a primate as a pet is the fact that they’re more likely to destroy things around the house without giving you any proper warning.
They might act like they’re domesticated, but you can never be sure of their behavior because they’re very strong, and it’s hard to control them and keep them under your radar.
If they get angry with you or feel threatened, they don’t shy away from biting, and that’s pretty bad, considering that they’re HIV-1 and hepatitis A carriers.
