5. Liver

Liver also makes the list of dangerous foods for cats. It contains a high amount of vitamin A, and feeding liver to your feline companion can cause vitamin A toxicity.

According to experts, symptoms of hypervitaminosis A include increased sensitivity in an area of your cat’s skin, muscle aches, and skeletal issues. Feeding your cat too much organ meat can usually cause this condition. Supplements such as cod liver oil are also a big no-no when it comes to cats.

Vitamin A toxicity doesn’t occur immediately and is a sad condition to witness. You may notice that your feline friend is sensitive to movement and touch. This being said, liver is one of the most dangerous foods for cats, and it is important to talk to your vet if you want to offer your pet any special diets.
